Royalty Free Images – June 2016 Portfolio Update
Every month I am producing from 100 to 200 stock images. There are mostly created in my home studio, some are shot on locations in Fort Collins area and during my longer trips, finally, some pictures are results of digital manipulation and compositing.
Within a few days, new pictures are available for order from stock agencies including
With a longer delay they are showing up on 123RF, Dreamstime, iStock, and several smaller agencies. Selected images are also available for licensing directly from my own website Pixels Away Stock, and Fine Art America (prints, cards, and other artwork).
I have the largest portfolio on Shutterstock. I just passed 11,000 images online.
In June 2016 I added 181 images to my stock portfolio. Here are some highlights:
Writing, sketches and doodles on a napkin with cup of coffee, tea, juice or fruit. New pictures include word clouds on a variety of subjects (web design, Pareto principle, search engine optimization, synergy, positive thinking, myth vs reality, story, real food), inspirational phrases, reminders or proverbs.
North Park, Pawnee National Grassland, Poudre Canyon. Pictures shot with DJI Phantom 3 drone.
Paddling is my favorite outdoor activity. June pictures include paddling SUP (stand up paddleboard) and expedition decked canoe.
Typography word abstracts
A long series created with vintage letterpress wood type printing blocks. Single words, phrases, acronyms and questions. Recent pictures include some props like cup of coffee, tea, apple or a propeller in the case of the drone regulations image.
Boats on white
I am working on a series of kayaks, canoes and packrafts isolated on white together with paddles and other gear. Last month I added a green tandem canoe and blue whitewater kayak to that series.
Single notes and sets with motivational reminders. I am trying some new setups with Nepalese lokta paper as a background.
North Park with wildfire plume and smoke, wind farm at Pawnee National Grassland, Cache la Poudre River at Poudre Falls, local lakes and foothills.
Hiking and landscape pictures from Red Mountain Open Space, and also from Fort Collins natural areas like Riverbend Ponds or Arapaho Bend.
I am still processing pictures from trips I did earlier this year: Great Sand Dunes National Park, Paint Mine near Colorado Springs, Moab.
In addition on working on my royalty free images portfolio, I am also available for custom orders. My typography images have been always popular, especially, for web banners and logos.
